The Parent dashboard allows parents to enforce their own filtering policies when the Chromebook or Chrome client is outside of school. Parents can block specific sites, and view their child’s online analytics. With the Parent dashboard, you can:

 

  • Enforce stricter policies when the Chromebook is at home
  • Access time control at home for streaming, gaming, and social networking
  • Receive cyberbullying and self-harm detection alerts
  • View Web and Youtube history
  • Enforce bedtime and screen access time control

You can access your Parent Dashboard by visiting https://parent.blocksi.net/ and logging in as a Parent or a Guardian.

Blocksi’s web filtering feature gives parents control over a continuously expanding database of categorized websites, totaling over a billion rated websites. These sites cover 85 categories, including topics like gaming, violence, explicit adult content, and drugs. Parents can easily manage or restrict access to specific URLs by creating an Exceptions list or enforcing bedtime feature.

Yes, you can access your Parent Dashboard from your computer, or you can download the Blocksi Parent app from the iOS App Store or Google Play.

That’s why we give you the option to customize unique filters for each child.

The Blocksi Parent App enables verified parents and guardians to oversee their children’s devices through their dashboard. The app allows Blocksi Admins to share managed user history with verified parents and guardians. With the Parent app, you can:

 

  • Implement stricter policies when Chromebook usage is outside of school
  • Control home-based time for streaming, gaming, and social networking
  • Receive alerts for cyberbullying and self-harm detection
  • View browsing history on the web and YouTube
  • Enforce bedtime and manage screen access time

No, there’s no need to download an extension onto your device in order to access your Parent Dashboard and view your child’s information.

Once your email address is registered by the school, the next step is for the school admins to validate your child’s account so it can be added to your Parent app.
