Thus, we are excited to announce an important update regarding Blocksi’s Student Safety solution. As of June 2023, we are launching the Premium Student Safety Services, also known as the Premium Account, which offers the advantage of round-the-clock, year-round expert review of AI-flagged issues.

With Student Safety Premium accounts, you can have peace of mind knowing that your students’ online activities will be closely monitored and scanned by our team of experienced human reviewers 24/7/365. Apart from AI detecting harmful content, this additional layer of human review ensures that any potentially dangerous content or websites are promptly flagged and blocked, further enhancing the safety and security of your students’ online experience.

Please be mindful that AI is not infallible in determining the risk associated with a given context, making it essential to evaluate each issue and scrutinize its context to ascertain its severity. With a Standard account, users will only have access to unprocessed AI-flagged issues, and it will be the responsibility of customer agents to verify or disprove the detected issues. Therefore, even without upgrading to the Premium account, we advise Standard account customers to regularly review the raw data.
