Blocksi Gets More Accessible—for Every User, on Every Platform

At Blocksi, accessibility isn’t just a box we check—it’s a priority. We’re committed to creating inclusive and usable digital experiences for all users, including users with accessibility needs and anyone who benefits from custom interaction settings.

Our Commitment to Accessible Design

Blocksi’s website and all dashboards—including the Teacher, Admin, Delegate, Parent, and Student Dashboards—reflect our ongoing efforts to support accessibility across our classroom management, content filtering, and student safety solutions. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA) and align with requirements of Section 508 and the ADA. We also take into account state-level mandates such as Colorado House Bill HB21-1110.

While we are continuously working toward full compliance, we recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process. We are actively identifying and addressing areas that need improvement and will continue to update our platforms to better serve every user.

Accessibility Features You Can Use

In addition to accessibility-focused updates, Blocksi has taken an extra step to support a more inclusive digital experience for all users. We’ve implemented UserWay’s Web Accessibility Widget across our entire platform, including the website and all dashboards. This tool isn’t just about compliance—it’s about giving users more control over how they interact with our technology.

With features like adjustable text size, high-contrast modes, and simplified navigation, the widget helps make content more accessible and usable for a wider range of needs and preferences. You can find the widget by clicking the accessibility icon in the bottom left corner of any page. After clicking, please allow a moment for the menu to fully load.

In contrast to passive compliance, our approach goes beyond it. We perform regular automated and manual testing and incorporate accessibility into every stage of our product development. Our goal is to ensure a seamless, supportive experience from login to logout.
