What We Learned at Blocksi’s Back to School Conference 2025

Our recent Back to School virtual conference was a fantastic way to kick off the school year! We connected with Blocksi users, shared valuable insights, and explored new features designed to make K-12 classrooms safer and more productive.

This year, we offered a variety of conference tracks tailored to different roles within schools. Participants had the chance to choose sessions relevant to their needs, from classroom management to online safety and student device management. Each session provided actionable insights that our users could take straight back to their schools.

Key Insights from the Conference

We were thrilled to see both long-term and new users, along with our team, actively participating throughout the sessions.

One feature that stood out to participants was the ability to easily visualize and export up to five years of data, accomplishing what you would with a custom report. Another feature receiving great feedback was Access Time Controls, a managing-at-home feature we take pride in.

We also received great feedback on the Enforce and Allow options. These give teachers the ability to guide student devices, control their online activities, and help them stay on task. Users found it to be a simple and effective way to keep students engaged and minimize distractions in the classroom.

A Message from Our CEO and Director of Customer Success

The feedback we received was invaluable, and it was amazing to hear how our features are making a difference in classrooms. To wrap up the conference, Fuad Bahou, CEO, took a moment to thank all participants and share some very exciting plans for the near future of Blocksi. Ernest Dixon, our Director of Customer Success, who led the entire conference, also shared his closing thoughts: “I hope you leave today with a playbook full of new insights, strategies, and tools that will help you lead your classrooms, your districts, and your communities to success.”

One of the best parts of the conference was seeing our users actively engage, share tips, and provide feedback. Their input helps shape how we develop Blocksi to better meet the needs of classrooms, from managing student devices to keeping students safe and on task.
