Sales Representative
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team as Sales Representatives/Account Managers in the K-12 education technology sector. While experience in selling educational technology is preferred, it’s not mandatory. Successful candidates should be motivated, adaptable to a startup environment, and ready to travel extensively to achieve sales targets. Proactive prospecting through calls and emails is crucial, and strong negotiation and closing skills are vital. Familiarity with content filtering or classroom screen monitoring is a plus. The role involves engaging in technical discussions with prospects’ technical teams, with support from internal sales engineers when needed. The territory covers multiple states, requiring a minimum of 4 states. The position allows for a home office setup close to a major airport, or candidates can consider relocating to our branch office in Austin, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Participate in trade shows and events
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 to 10 tears of previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong written and communications skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred but not required
- Strong business ethics
- Hungry to close and sell
