Blocksi Announces Completion of SOC 2 Type 1 Report

SOC 2 Type 1

Blocksi has undergone a Service Organization Control (SOC 2) examination resulting in a report stating that Blocksi has designed and implemented controls to meet the criteria for the security principle set forth in Trusted Services Criteria over its Blocksi’s BMEE solution – a SaaS application used by academies and schools for classroom management and student safety. The engagement was performed by Deloitte & Associés.

Recently, a SOC 2 attest report was issued by Deloitte & Associés. Seeing we’re working with schools, keeping the highest security standards is undoubtedly one of the essential pillars of our mission.

Since schools and our other partners rely on us to deliver business-critical services with high security delicacy, we’ve wanted to ensure our data security and safe data handling with a trustful standard, such as SOC-2.

About SOC 2 Type 1, TSC Security

The SOC 2 reporting standards assess internal controls over a wide range of risk areas. That includes organizational structure, IT, human resources, and third-party management. Through it all, principles of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy are considered (and called TSC: Trusted Services Criteria).

Being audited on the SOC-2 TSC Security means Blocksi is committed to take various actions to ensure user data is processed, stored, and handled with utmost care and according to strict security guidelines.

What’s next?

Maintaining a high level of information security for six months will allow us also to acquire SOC 2 Type 2 and, with it, further our vow of being a SaaS that builds (and keeps) trust in the service performed. Everyone at Blocksi will continue to strive to provide users with top-notch security, safeguarding customer data, and total and complete transparency.
